    delightful breakfast
    unattended front desk
    poor condition chairs

The breakfast options were delightful with fresh fruit.

During my stay, the front desk was frequently unattended, which was incredibly frustrating. We often found ourselves waiting for help or having to call for assistance. Additionally, the room had a few chairs that were in poor condition, which detracted from the overall experience.

The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring

a lovely sunroom perfect for enjoying morning coffee. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the occasional train noise at night was noticeable. Overall, it was a charming stay that offered a sense of tranquility despite the minor disruptions.

    comfortable beds
    noise from trains

The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast options were delightful, featuring fresh fruit salad and made-to-order eggs.

The sound of the nearby freight trains passing by at night could be quite disruptive, making it difficult to get a restful sleep.

    early morning train

Had a great stay at Bayside Inn! The room was huge with lovely natural light and a cozy spa tub. Jeff, the owner, made check-in super easy. Just a heads up, I noticed some trains in the early morning, but it didn’t ruin my experience!

1800s style house, close proximity to waterfront, easy access to dining options

The building has old floorboards that creak with every step!!! A little soundproofing would go a long way to improve guests' comfort, especially at night when everyone is navigating the hallways!!!

    sleepless night

The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the waterfront and downtown restaurants. The rooms were quite spacious, featuring a cozy sunroom, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast included fresh fruit salad and made-to-order eggs, adding a nice touch to the stay. However, the nighttime noises from passing freight trains were disruptive, making sleep a challenge. Additionally, the lack of hair conditioner was a minor inconvenience.

    charming atmosphere

    Couples looking for charm

The warm fireplace in the lobby was inviting, set against the backdrop of interesting antiques. Jeff at the front desk, like we were guests in his cozy abode. We even dined nearby under the warmth of an outdoor heater, so peaceful.

The rate felt a bit steep, still, I would say it was acceptable.

It was just a smart choice for a flying visit in Parry Sound with great value. The continental breakfast had fresh fruit and eggs made to order, which was a nice surprise. Consider checking their website for accurate descriptions of the amenities.

    charming environment
    noisy surroundings

I enjoyed a charming and professionally run hotel that felt like a private guest house. The location is excellent, being within walking distance to the downtown area and the harbor pier. The heritage building is fully modernized yet maintains a traditional aesthetic, providing a cozy front porch to relax on. My room was spacious and had a lovely screened porch looking out to a naturalized garden. Plus, the continental breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit salad and eggs made to order, accompanied by great coffee.

The only downside was the occasional noise from nearby trains, which might disrupt light sleepers.
